Die Putinnen in Tangermünde sind zwei rechteckige Wehrtürme, die den Ausgang zur Tanger schützen sollten und Teil der Stadtmauer waren. Der östliche Turm diente einst als Bürgergewahrsam. Von 1819 bis 1833 war dort das erste Eichamt der Altmark untergebracht. - The Putinnen in the small German town Tangermünde are two rectangular fortified towers. They are part of the city wall and should protect the exit to the Tanger river. The first gauging office of the Altmark was housed by 1819 to 1833 there.
