Description
The Königsallee came to its current name in a special way. In 1848, Prussia did not miss the opportunity to ride along the boulevard. Unfortunately for him, the citizens at that time were extremely dissatisfied with the Prussian reforms and threw horses at the monarch. In order to give the King another gracious vote, the city fathers decided to rename the Kastanienstraße to Könnigsallee.
